AIM & OBJECTIVE
Aim
The aim of the foundation to create widespread awareness of the various forms of women and child abuse, provincially, nationally, continentally and globally. To assist authorities in finding the root cause of the abuses, by helping victims to identify their abusers.
It is also to help them recover from the trauma caused by giving them the necessary resources to overcome the long-term emotional and psychological damage their oppressors caused them. It has become more than apparent, that there is a greater need to curb the cause of the problem and not just treat the symptoms. The foundation aims to help each and every victim with the same level of love, care and assistance locally, as it would anywhere else in the world, regardless of their race, gender, religion or background.
Objective
Furthermore, the objective of the foundation is to ensure that resources include psychological assistance, therapy, investigating the reasons for the victim falling prey to these predators.
The founder has envisioned an organisation / foundation that also looks at sustainable means to prevent victims from falling into the same tragic circumstances caused by poverty, lack of healthcare and other significant issues that arise leading to these incidences as well after the fact.
It is also the objective of this foundation to tell the stories of countless victims, who wish to open up and share their stories, to educate other women, children to prevent future victims of the same violence and abuse.
It is the main objective of this foundation to assist victims by empowering them through recognised programmes, that not only upskill them into a viable source of income, but make it a sustainable income. In addition, allowing them to contribute to the economy with the potential of becoming small business owners, one that is sustainable for them and their children. These opportunities can lead to a better quality of life through a higher living standard measure (LSM).
Each and every contributor to the foundation is dedicated to helping abused women and children and fighting for the prevention of it. To help those in need emotionally, physically, and mentally first.
